Sunday Post #4 Brain is a Magical Thing
''The brain is the most complicated thing in the world, yet it comes without the user manual. Many people try to keep their minds fresh by not using their brains but it is a huge mistake.
The structure of our brain is changed by the things we do regularly. The neurons are created when they are used. There are 3 states of mind when the brain is at its highest peak - during our dreaming even daydreaming, in good laughter, and during psychosis. The healthiest is the laughter.''
Now I feel special I also survived psychosis, and not once - it might not be healthy, but at least my brain was at its highest peak. I can say it climbed up the mountain, fell back down, and crashed. Anyway, I like my brain and you should love yours, too. Read a good joke and dream on - try to reach the highest peak without psychosis. A quote by Marco Magrini from the book The Brain ... our brain is a magical thing, embrace it to the fullest!
I think our brains were meant to be crashed from time to time like we had viruses in our software systems. I believe I have just had too many viruses or catches and psychosis was a way how to reset my internal system. I do not know how often I hated my brain for being this way. I wanted a brain transplant too many times. But it is not so easy. The only way forward is to get to know my brain and try to work with it the way it grows rather than regresses.
It is said that guts are our second brain and the third one is the heart. If all our brains function well - it means we take good care of all of them. I have studied a few books on nutrition with bipolar and tried different diets like keto or green diets, but I found out that the best diet for me is what I used to eat as a child. I usually eat a lot but I also do a lot of sports so I guess it is okay.
With the heart as our third brain, it is more complicated, we need to look after our relationships and self-love. You know that if we connect with people around us and reach the same vibe, we also feel better. I like my energy and I do not want to waste it on wrong people.
